Grady County Lake

About This Project

In 2010, Grady County secured a permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to construct a 960 acre recreational fishing lake. “Tired Creek Lake”, located at the confluence of three creeks which combine to form Tired Creek, is located at the site that was originally identified for a Georgia State Park in the 1960s. In 2010, we acted as bond counsel a $14,940,000 issue to finance the dam and the initial construction if the lake. In 2015, we served as bond counsel on an $8,795,000 issue to finance the completion of the lake including water-side and in-lake marine infrastructure.
